Commitment and responsibility is required, as this is a role where the post holder spends the majority of the day mobile providing support to our users and is expected to prioritize and plan most of the working day individually and in collaboration with the rest of the team. 
The IT Support Technician must be a team player, able to function autonomously with minimum direct supervision. and also understand the value of supporting his colleagues and sharing his experience and knowledge.
The person must possess strong passion and tact to give end users at all levels, cultures and personalities a good IT-support experience

Key responsibilities

Handling and preparing incoming HW
:Receiving, imaging and distributing HW to end users.
:Preparing new/reused PCs and other IT hardware as needed by the local business users.
:Asset management for hardware in SNOW to maintain accurate inventory records.

2nd and 3rd Level support
:Make sure we keep our SLAs towards the end users.
:Solve incidents that require onsite presence or requires special knowledge.
:Take End-to-end ownership of hard-to-solve and slow moving incidents.
: Report and update the IT Service Management application to reflect the incidents current state and the work that has been carried out, ensuring that service level management targets are met and adhered to.
:Document processes and solutions for knowledge sharing.
:Act as an ambassador and champion of the IT services provided.

Problem and Incident Management
:Reporting, updating and closing incidents according to the agreed processes, within the IT Service Management application
:Detect patterns in observed incidents and raise these as problems.

Providing input for process and service improvements
:Share own observations, ideas and customer feedback with the rest of the team as well as management to drive “world class” support.

Project Participation
:Participation in support-related projects in the role of expert and/or project coordinator. The scope of project delivery is across Europe.

Support for other offices\locations
:Support for other locations \ offices as appropriate, either via use of remote tools or ad hoc site visits (this will require some travel). Some travel may also be required outside of Denmark

We are looking for

- Advanced desktop usage / VPN & Citrix / iPhone / Windows 10
- Advanced knowledge on Microsoft info-worker tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, SharePoint, Skype For Business, Project, Visio). Office 365 platform.
- Strong knowledge of setting up PCs, Microsoft operating systems and connectivity (LAN, WiFi, Bluetooth, etc.)
- Good knowledge of the most common PC accessories and how to connect them, i.e. printers, mice, external drives.
- Able to do basic setup of mobile devices like iOS devices, Android devices, Windows Phone, etc.
- Good understanding of IT infrastructure components and how they function together.
- Knowledge of an IT Service Management application such as Service Now (SNOW)
- Change and Risk management awareness
- Basic knowledge on the use of AV equipment (meeting rooms)
- ITIL V3 Foundation Certification is an advantage
