Your future responsibilities

IT Test Analyst, you will organize and maintain test artefacts and environments, as well as document those as part of different test cycles. You know how to state facts about your findings in a neutral manner. You know well the test discipline, and you can coach your teammates, for example by helping developers improve unit testing coverage or assisting stakeholders with reporting of UAT sessions. You understand the difference between manual testing, test analysis and test automation, and you can perform all 3 as needed to help the team deliver. You’ll join Banking Technology unit within Technology Quality Assurance which is driving the test effort forward including increased NFT effort and framework creation for a uniformed and efficient QA approach. 

What you’ll be doing: 

• Finding the right balance between manual testing, test analysis and test automation, and performing all 3 to help the team deliver
• Helping teammates and other stakeholders in the test discipline, from unit testing until UAT
• Writing test plans and test reports together with the team  
• Maintaining test data and test environments for all test activities in the team
• Learning by doing, overcoming challenges and sharing experiences with your communities of practice

The roles are based in Taastrup, nearby Copenhagen. We are recruiting to several teams within Credit Risk Capability. The first team drives the common automated credit processes agenda, providing Nordic solutions that enable and support a harmonised and compliant end-to-end credit process for corporate customers. The organisation provides applications and services to support a fast and efficient provision of credit products to customers while ensuring a high credit quality and compliance with sector regulations. As a valued partner for rest of Nordea we deliver on the top prioritized business investment themes including balance sheet optimisation and digitalisation. The second recruiting team is part of Corporate Lending Hub, which aims to provide state-of-the-art customer facing solutions. We enable commercial and business banking customers to be served with basic financing needs in a fast and convenient way via a highly automated credit decision process.

Your background: 

• 5+ years as Test Analyst in a very complex IT landscape, preferably using agile methodologies
• Comfortable with translating requirements and software architecture into test cases, as well as running exploratory testing sessions
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
• University degree in Computer Science or similar is a must, while ISTQB or similar certifications are a plus
• Developer background is a plus, while being able to automate test using different frameworks or from scratch if needed is a must
