In Common platforms team within Data & Analytics department, we deliver a multi-tenant Big Data platform having end to end responsibility including architecture, engineering and operations. Furthermore we operate shared data and analytics services including reporting & dashboards, master data mangement and meta data as well as drive standardisation, strategy and road map for data engineering and finally we are 5 % geeks, nerds, husbands and wives.

You’re expected to develop your talent and aim higher as you work to change payments. You’ll build on our proven track record of developing and delivering innovative and reliable solutions and our strengths as a Nordic leader with 50 years of experience within payment solutions. Your key responsibilities are working with Lead Platform Architect to drive platforms strategy and architecture in addition to designing platform capabilities. Furthermore you are to conduct proof of concepts serving business requirements as well as align road map with Nets overall strategy working with group functions such as enterprise architecture and information security. Last but not least you will collaborate closely with platform and application feature teams advising on technical solution design and shared service integration.

To support continued growth and ensure delivery to several strategic projects within Nets, we are now extending the team with a Big Data Architect familiar with the Hadoop and Big Data eco system.
Your professional qualifications include:
- Bachleor’s degree in relevant education i.e. Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar
- Experience with Hadoop ecosystem including Spark, Hive, and HBase
- Experience with midrange technologies like Linux and RDBMS an added advantage
- Knowledge of real time streaming technologies like Kafka, and Rabbit MQ
- General knowledge in cloud computing, virtualisation and containerisation
- General knowledge of Data management, ETL, and Data Quality principles
- Interest in Fintech Sector
