For our Jack-Up team in Service Wind Power we are looking for a Junior Business Controller to support us in the execution of all commercial processes and participate in the reporting and controlling of key figures in relation to Jack-Up operations. The team is responsible for operating Jack-Up vessels, which are highly specialized vessels used for servicing and maintaining the rising number of offshore wind projects across Northern Europe. The team is recently established, and you will thus get an impact in scoping the work area. What are my responsibilities? Ensure correct and timely allocation of costs Analyze historical data to be used for project budgeting and forecasting Monthly performance reporting of projects and profit center Control and analyze costs and operational data to support business decisions. In general provide support in the creation of business cases to secure the most efficient operational planning and execution Ad hoc requests to support the team decision-making, templates and procedures Day-to-day administrative tasks like the creation and follow-up on purchase orders, approval of invoices, checking on budgetary figures etc. Invoicing of contractual obligations What do I need to qualify for this job? You hold a master’s degree in economics, finance, accounting or the like with outstanding results. Ideally combined with 1-2 years of experience from a similar role You are detail oriented and possess strong analytical skills As a person you are positive, open minded and eager to learn You are proactive, take initiative and are able to work independently You are IT-minded with strong Excel skills You are fluent in English – orally as well as in writing In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
