Are you passionate about working in between creative designs and good business sense? Do you want to be a key player in an international buying department, which works closely together to create the best products?

We are looking for an energetic and passionate junior buyer for the express buying department of VERO MODA, who is good a multitasking and can keep an overview in a hectic environment.

About the position

You become part of a dynamic buying team consisting of 15 team members, who all work with express, and who values good corporation and a strong team spirit. We help each other with everything from express collections to sent outs for key Accounts, collections for fairs and requests from the markets. Your focus will be on working with the woven collections together with 4 colleagues. You will get a large network both internally and externally consisting of our buying colleagues, salespeople, designers, pattern designers and suppliers. You daily tasks are varied and contains all steps in the buying process from the creative beginning with product development and collecting prices to placing of orders and follow up with administrative tasks.

Your tasks

• Daily support for our suppliers and BESTSELLER's international buying offices
• Preparing sales meetings/internal presentations of collections
• Coordinating tasks
• Price calculations
• Creating of styles and assortments in our internal systems
• Updating color cards and approving lap dips
• Commenting and approving fittings in collaboration with our pattern designers
• Order placing and follow up on deliveries.

About you

We are valuing highly that you are a skilled communicator, who is capable of creative thinking and who constantly looks for solutions. As a person you are structured, keeps you cool, and can keep focus in a dynamic and creative environment, where not everything can be planned. You have a solid numerical understanding and have good business acumen. You thrive in an administrative role, where you have many stakeholders and tasks to maintain simultaneously. It is a necessity that you have a natural passion for fashion.

Qualifications

• Relevant education within buying
• Min. 2 years relevant experience
• Experience with the woven category is an advantage
• Verbal and written proficiency in English
• Experienced user of Microsoft Office
• Solid numerical understanding.
