About the position

For our Offshore Innovation department, we are looking for a Junior Project Manager with a broad interest in renewable energies.
The Offshore Innovation department is a group of highly motivated and passionate specialists with focus on the challenges of securing a sustainable future for Offshore wind turbines and ensuring that Offshore wind turbines are a significant part of tomorrow’s energy mix.

What are my responsibilities in this position?

The specific detailed tasks of a junior producer project manager role will vary, but common activities include project administration and support to senior project managers and specialists on internal and external projects. There will be a strong focus on tasks such as planning, monitoring, documentation and status reports, as well as interacting with internal and external partners to ensure project progress.
Some of the technical development areas you will be supporting are 

  • Power to X – How to promote using wind to fuel other sectors
  • New wind turbine tower topologies – Help our specialist to drive new solutions
  • Digitalization projects -– How can asset utilization be improved 
  • Create overview of the many sub projects and use cases of our digitalization projects
  • Digitalization of Cable in Pipe – How to identify digitalization potentials in new cable connection solutions 
  • New Installation technologies – Help finding ways of reducing dependency of large installation vessels for wind turbines and /or for exchange of large components 
  • Bottom fixed foundations – Help investigate new foundation types that do not require installation vessels

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • You have a strong interest in green energy solutions with a Master or Bachelor in one of the following fields:
    • Energy engineer
    • Mechanical engineer
    • Electrical engineer
    • Civil engineer
  • You can be starting in this position directly after university or similar. You can also have 5 years of relevant experience from the private or educational sector with a high degree of technical content.
  • You ideally have gained first experience in managing projects
  • You have good documentation and communication skills, and a strong sense of diligence. 
  • You work well independently and in teams. 
  • Your areas of interest within the green energy sector is wide
  • You have an interest in making specialists work closely together on creating the new energy solutions for the next generations.
  • You are not tied to a specific trade and enjoy moving seamlessly between the different engineering sectors. Detailed knowledge on more than one area is however not expected.
  • You have strong English skills, both orally and in writing, are important as we are working in an international environment where documentation and presentation material in written form is essential.

The work place will be Brande or Vejle.
