Would you like to be part of designing document management processes in a large organisation with a big professional network of Records Managers? Join DONG Energy and become a Junior Records Manager in our Project Support department, which is part of the Wind Power business unit. Project Support provides dedicated employees to DONG Energy's offshore wind farm projects within the functional areas Time and Resource Management, Risk Management, Change Management and Records Management. Wind Power has 1400 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You will be based in our office in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling to our locations both in Denmark and abroad in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility As a Junior Records Manager, you work closely with an experienced Records Manager on one or more projects. You are responsible for supporting and guiding your project colleagues on how to properly handle their documentation in the best possible and most effective way. Moreover, you ensure that systems and structures constantly meet the projects’ needs and you are also responsible for the coordination of your colleagues' training in relevant RM systems, processes and tools. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: • ensure agreement between practice and Records Management policies and procedures of our group within the specific field and ensure compliance with the framework for consistent records management across the projects • optimise processes continuously in terms of handling of business critical documentation with focus on best practice • ensure that our guidelines and current use of the system are adapted to changing needs • train users from the projects on a continuous basis, including training of the colleagues on our sites in Northern Europe from time to time • participate in group work in connection with the implementation of new records management systems. Your profile You have a relevant educational background within records management, for instance corresponding to the Danish degrees cand.scient.bibl. from the Royal School of Library and Information Science or Information Management from Copenhagen Business School. Or maybe you hold an education as a historian or another relevant academic education. Previous work experience is not a requirement, but a professional focus on document and records management processes and systems is preferred. You are a Microsoft Office super user and acquainted with web filing systems and electronic document management systems. In general, you have flair for IT systems. It is also important that you have excellent communication skills, enabling you to present and communicate the results of your work in an efficient manner. You are fluent in English and Danish, allowing you to cooperate efficiently in our international working environment. On a personal level, you are a committed specialist who thrives on solving project-oriented tasks. It is essential that you show responsibility and have an analytical and structured approach to your work. You value the quality of your own work and pay attention to detail. Furthermore, you have an outgoing personality, are capable of managing complex documentation structures and are able to approach your tasks focusing on both the short- and long-term perspectives.
