In the course of providing our customers with the best technical support, we have an opening for a Junior Engineer for our European Systems & Application Engineering organisation. This position plays a vital part in our global Sales and Marketing organisation. Education will happen mainly at the Application Development Center in Nordborg. The key responsibilities outlined below would be expected to be carried out following successful completion of training programs and coaching from senior Systems Application Engineers. Key Responsibilities Apply and validate application solutions based upon all Danfoss Power Solutions mobile hydraulic and electronic control products across the whole range Offering systems support ranging from: •Technical specifications based on customer requirements •system design and sizing •proposing application software solutions •on-site support and system troubleshooting •Carrying out day to day enquiries and tasks relating to fulfilling customer technical requests •Support in pre-selling, carrying out customer presentations and training •Actively taking part in obtaining knowledge of our product portfolio and key applications Qualifications •Successfully completed degree, preferably as qualified Electrical Engineer, Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineer; a minimum level equivalent to BSc. •Basic knowledge of off road applications is an advantage •English language skills, both oral and written are mandatory, any other European language is an advantage •Team player mentality What we offer •An interesting and challenging job in a high-performance team, in a global environment where you will continuously be able to develop your skills and competencies in order to meet customer expectations •Develop knowledge of application engineering for mobile off-road applications •Improve Project Management skills •Develop knowledge of Software control solutions, communication technology and measurement and analysis •Dependent on successful applicant possibility of short term travel assignments Application deadline 30 October 2014
