Laboratory Technician for Household Care Research & Development For our Detergent Research Center Denmark in Bagsværd, we are seeking a Laboratory Technician with a desire to explore the use of enzymes in automatic dish wash detergents. Detergent Research Center is a functional area in Applied Discovery responsible for developing enzymes for tomorrow’s detergents. This includes evaluation of new enzymes in dish wash detergents, development and down scaling of wash assays and mechanistic understanding and characterization of enzymes – all with a global perspective and in close interaction with our customers. Qualifications • Educated as a laboratory technician or similar • Experienced in working with enzymes and/or detergents • Experienced in working with own study plans in a research environment • Familiar with English as this is our cooperate language • A skilled IT user who works confidently with the MS Excel software and can handle large amounts of data Furthermore, you are interested in working in a global environment and turning ideas and technology into products in close contact with our customers. You like to handle several tasks at a time while still being systematic. You have a “just do it attitude”, a good sense of humor and enjoy working as part of a team. Challenges You will be handling versatile tasks, as you develop the technologies for tomorrow’s detergents in close collaboration with your colleagues across the organization. You will be involved in application testing of potential new products both in assays at realistic scale as well as in downscaled assays to understand our enzymes better. You will benefit from a creative mind and the ability to translate this into laboratory work to develop dish wash soils and assays.
