- Laboratory Technician - Denmark - Måløv We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced laboratory technician who desires to be part of Novo Nordisk’s voyage towards development of oral solid dosage forms of proteins and peptides. About the department The Oral Drug Product department in Global Research consists of 36 dedicated and enthusiastic colleagues organized in 3 teams. We are an international department where colleagues from ten different nationalities work together. The analysis team consists currently of 12 people, 7 laboratory technicians and 4 scientists. The main responsibilities of the Oral Drug Product department are to develop new oral formulation concepts for protein and peptide therapeutics. The department’s tasks comprise of activities within pre-formulation, biophysics, characterisation, formulation, and analysis. The position In this job you will contribute with your expertise and experience to the analysis of oral liquid and solid dosage forms for the early research projects. The main techniques used for the analysis are chromatography-based, using HPLC and UPLC. In addition, we characterise formulations by in vitro dissolution testing and other in vitro techniques developed in house. One of our key tasks is to transfer analytical methods to Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) Development when research projects reach relevant milestones. In the team you will have the responsibility for conducting analytical testing of oral formulations according to the best practice. You will be collaborating closely with the laboratory technicians and scientists in the team. You will spend most of your time in the laboratory conducting analysis; however, you will also be responsible for processing and reporting of data (in English). Qualifications You have a background as Laboratory Technician, or equivalent. Practical experience with analysis of oral formulations especially with HPLC and UPLC analysis and data handling in Empower will be an advantage. On a personal level you are an open-minded and flexible team player with a positive attitude to complement our dedicated and engaged team. You work in a structured manner and have a focus on quality of your work. Proficiency in written and spoken English is required as we work in an international environment.
