Can you provide our business units with to-the-point professional legal advice within tender law? Join us as lawyer in tender law and become part of Legal Competition & Tender Law which provides legal advice to the business units of DONG Energy in relation to tender law, state aid and competition law. The department is part of our Group functions, which cover Group Support, Group Finance & Services and Group IT. In Group Legal, we focus our efforts on supporting the entire business and ensuring that the company works as a professional, reliable and responsible company. You will be based at our office in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility Your key duties will be to provide legal business advice in relation to larger tender procedures under primarily the utilities directive, including but not limited to: •application of qualification systems and establishment of new such systems •participation in kick-off meetings with Procurement and the business units when planning new tenders •design of project specific pre-qualification criteria and review of the applicants’ compliance with those •legal review of tender documents before publication, including drafting proposals for eg award criteria •internal education of contract managers. Your profile You are a fully qualified lawyer in Denmark with 5-10 years' experience. You have extensive experience within tender law and preferably within contract law and EU law in general; and you are able to build and maintain positive relations to stakeholders based on competent counselling. You are able to provide professional legal advice independently within your area of expertise and take responsibility. Your advice will be to the point and fulfil the commercial needs of the individual business units. Moreover, you are service-minded, resilient and trustworthy, and you are capable of performing within a team.
