Danfoss has recently acquired AAIM controls in USA to become a system solutions provider within industrial refrigeration. AAIM offers a complete range of control products for industrial refrigeration automation to the North American market, and their product portfolio spans from starters and drives to complete PLC control solutions. AAIM is involved all the way from engineering to manufacturing and commissioning, and the company will be the foundation of the new system solutions portfolio within Industrial Refrigeration.In this position you will be responsible for developing and executing the product strategy for the system solutions portfolio. You will still be in close cooperation with colleagues both in your own team and in Production, Supply Chain and Sales. You should expect some travel activity, appr. 50 – 60 days per year, primarily to North America and Asia Pacific.

 

Become the centre of crucial decisions and actions

You will drive sales and generate growth for this new strategic area, and your primary tasks will consist of:

• Managing the system solutions portfolio 

• Supporting the sales organisation and drive business development

• Building application knowledge and organisational know-how within PLC and system offerings 

• Developing training material to facilitate product knowledge and drive the value proposition   

Dealing with customers and other stakeholders, you will build a strong network. You will further expand your knowledge of the area, always keeping your finger firmly on the pulse. You will develop your personal and professional skills and create a perfect platform for your future career in a company with great opportunities for people with the right capacity. 

 

Strong influencer with product management experience and a flair for international sales

You have a strong, technical background and probably hold an engineering degree as well as relevant professional experience within product management and/or business development. It is essential that you can document solid knowledge of the control systems (PLC) market and have experience from an international organisation. Working experience from the HVAC or refrigeration industry will be considered an advantage.You have the interest and capability to analyse complex issues, and you hold solid business acumen. You are a strong networker with impact, stamina and the ability to influence. You communicate effortless in English both verbally and written at all levels in an organisation. You manage to focus on both customer needs and internal interests at the same time.
