Lead Development Engineer for our moulding production

Do you have experience with moulding plastics and a technical understanding? Would you like to optimise, innovate and improve the moulding processes and machines for the world's best toy brand? Identify and implement improvements and rationalisations You will be responsible for refining processes and machinery in the moulding area in order to improve run time efficiency. Having KPIs and must-win-battles in the back of your mind, you look at the current production and analyse machines and processes. You focus on mechanics in production equipment and the function details, and you will: Have a free and independent position where you will spend probably half of your time on the shop floor, listening to and learning from your colleagues while you spot opportunities for improvement Suggest pilot projects that sometimes turn into actual improvement projects where you are responsible for delivering according to agreed time, quality and cost Lead collaboration and co-creation of components with internal and external partners, including meeting with external suppliers to lead reengineering of new LEGO Production equipment Support continuous improvement of processes, templates and project models as well as mentor colleagues in the design practices and product development phases Ensure that relevant documentation is made and available within our global organisation You will be travelling up to 20 days per year to develop machines and conduct FAT.
