Then you might be our new Lead Drive Hardware Design Engineer, who will be part of the Danfoss Cooling Segment and will be leading the Drive Hardware design activities teaming up with the Drives supplier. Joining us as a Lead Drive Hardware Design Engineer in Danfoss Cooling Segment, you will make sure that the Drive hardware is top quality. You will define hardware design specifications contributing to deliver excellent Drive hardware. You will lead by example and set new standards in energy efficient engineering solutions together with your global colleagues. Working together with a wide range of different specialists allows you to develop solutions that make a sustainable difference for people and businesses around the globe. About Danfoss Cooling Segment Danfoss Cooling is a world leader in the development of technologies of today and tomorrow in Food Retail, Air Conditioning, Industrial and Commercial Refrigeration. Your typical day will include •Working closely with our design and marketing team, contributing your technical expertise to the development of Drive hardware •Leading the technical discussion with Drive supplier designing the Drive hardware and lead the team of junior engineers in the end-to-end design activities •Working with software and system engineer for whole Drive compressor system implementation, implement verification and validation plan •Performing system design of power converters •Designing the PCB layout and reliability design. Compiling inverter hardware design standards, test standards and responsible to pass 3C/CE/UL certification •Executing research on innovative technology and control of power electronics •Organizing and following-up TRL process with support of laboratory and model shop according to AE Road Map What we look for •Master degree or above specialized in power electronics, automation or controls and Ph.D. is an advantage •More than five years of experience in power electronics circuit and control design in a drive and inverter industry •Leadership experience with an ability lead a team of engineers in a cross cultural environment •Strong background in power electronics circuit design and controls •Strong Knowledge in power electronics for industrial application especially inverter (motor drive) •Proficient in power electrical components application, such as IGBT, EDA Tools •Proficient in common hardware simulation tools, such as Pspice/Saber •Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal) •Openness to ideas and enthusiasm for working across geographical, cultural and professional borders Please apply at your earliest convenience.
