Maersk Container Industry is looking for a Lead Embedded Hardware Engineer for various electronic development projects.

Sekstant™ Global Guidance ( see below) will provide reporting data to container operators wherever the reefers are located in the world. The system will enable new levels of automation and data collection, changing the way how operators can manage their reefer transport chain.
You will be part of a highly engaged team working with one of the most advanced products in the industry, the Star Cool (SC) Refrigeration machine. You will be part of a team that contributes to further developing innovative solutions at the highest standard, which sets the benchmark for the global intermodal container industry.

To a newly created position, MCI is looking for a Lead Embedded Hardware Engineer to upgrade their competencies within embedded system development
Key responsibilities
•Act as engineering lead – design and develop new concepts
•Translate product and system strategy into features and requirements
•Ensure critical knowledge and knowhow is secured internally in MCI
•Write technical specifications
•Assist in resolving technical questions and clarifications towards external suppliers
•Anchor technical knowledge in-house
•Act as engineering lead on various electronic development projects
We are looking for
In order to succeed in this job, it is expected that you have:
•Several years of practical experience with embedded industrial system development, from specification to release of product
•A degree in Electrical Engineering
•Experience with embedded systems development: processor selection, various communication protocols, analog design, sensor design, low power design and various RF technologies
•Experience in prototype bring-up and debugging, functional verification and manufacturing support.
•Experience working within a lab-based environment (soldering, oscilloscopes, data acquisition).
•Effective planning and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
•A structured and detail-oriented approach to your daily tasks.
