For our Technology Department in Brande, Denmark we are looking for a bright Lead Engineer who can be a further enrichment of our Hub design team. Our team is responsible for the structural and mechanical design of the Hub wherein the hub is divided into sub-modules. Your sub module is Internals for the either Offshore or Onshore Hub platforms, which contains: · Pitch system (brackets for hub attachments, calculation of pitch cylinders) · Blade bearing assembly incl. grease system · Hydraulic assembly, bolted construction to carry the hydraulic system and accumulators · Oil absorber · Ladders and platforms · Hydraulic and electrical routing · Lightning system integration in Hub based on input from Electricals department Your project team will consist of CAD, FEA and mechanical specialists both from Denmark and India, and you will in the project refer to the Module PM of the Hub. What are my responsibilities? · Responsible for development of internals from concept to serial production following Siemens PDP process · Develop and further improve the PDP process and further break down your deliverables · Creating concepts · Time planning · Sparring with CAD, FEA and Mech specialists · Overview of BoM structure and 3D assemblies · Close cooperation with prototype workshop, production, procurement, quality and your other Technology interfaces within the Hub module and outside of the Hub module such as Electricals What do I need to qualify for this job? · You hold a bachelor or a master in structural, mechanical or marine engineering and have experience in product development and project management · You possess good manufacturing understanding together with a strong design and analytical understanding were you are able to combine that with common sense · You are outgoing and proactive, and you possess the ability to work both independently and in teams · You are structured and innovative and your approach to task solving is both technically sound and commercially viable · You have excellent communication skills and are fluent in both written and spoken English In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
