We are co-located in an entrepreneurial and collaborative work-space at our Digital Transformation Office in Bjerringbro, Denmark, with the ambition of undertaking the most intelligent digital transformation within the industry. This is also why, we invest heavily in this area as part of our new 2025 strategy, and as our new colleague, you will play a vital role in bringing Grundfos into the future.
Be a pioneer
In Bjerringbro, you will join an international team of the brightest developers with high digital ambitions. The team consists of 30 talented colleagues, who are on a mission to create the best solutions.
You will join the project as we head towards full implementation, and your emphasis will be on developing the system backend. There will be a degree of architecture work in your daily tasks, but your primary focus will be on general software development and programming, and you will be the lead in a full-stack scrum team of 6-9 colleagues working in a cross-functional scrum team setup based on SAFe

We are looking to hire multiple colleagues to join us as lead developers.
As our new lead backend developer, you will be working with methods such as microservices, Eventsourcing, CQRS and Defensive programming. Our preferred development language is C# on .NET Core. Our platform is based on Microsoft Azure Cloud including the IoT Hub and Device SDK and you will be working on further developing and strengthening this in close collaboration with Microsoft. The platform collects pump data from intelligent sensors in real time and synthesize it to empower smart pumps to help predict, prevent, and react to water issues. By using the IoT Hub to remotely perform command and control tasks and update the firmware in the pumps and gateways, you contribute to developing a full end-to-end IoT solution.
Experience with IoT and Microsoft Azure or a similar platform
- You have solid experience in C# and .NET Core
- You hold a master’s degree in software development or similar. Alternatively, you have a matching track record with lots of practical experience.
- You have a good understanding of the principles of cloud development like Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
- Excellent English skills – verbally and in writing - and helpful by heart.
- You are familiar with Microservices, Eventsourcing and CQRS
- Preferably, you have experience within TDD and modern DevOps principles.
- Preferably, you have some experience working in a dedicated multi-disciplinary scrum team
- And it is a plus if you have experience working in a global company
Preferably (but not a requirement) you know about 50% of the following Azure components: IoT Hub, Stream Analytics, Logic Apps, Web Job, Event Hub, Times Series Insight, Service Bus, Azure Functions, Application Insight, Blob storage, Key Vault and/or App Services (Web + API).
We offer a lead frontend role, where you will work together with business experts, product owners, designers and requirement engineers in order to implement the User Interface for our digital platform. We use React and Redux to create the visual and functional components, NPM as the tool for managing our packages and Typescript as our programming language. Fetching of the data is done through REST APIs and we are in process of introducing GraphQL for a better query and manipulation of data. Build and deployment is handled in Azure DevOps and testing is done using Jest and snapshot testing. We strive for a close collaboration between frontend developers, peer programming and code reviews to enforce learning and knowledge sharing.

- You have solid experience working with REST APIs
- You are proficient in using CSS and CSS preprocessors like Sass and LESS
- You hold a master’s degree in Computer Science or similar. Alternatively, you have a matching track record with lots of practical experience.
- Excellent English skills – verbally and in writing – and helpful by heart.
- Preferably, you have experience with GraphQL
- Preferably, you have experience within TDD and modern DevOps principles.
- Preferably, you have some experience working in a dedicated multi-disciplinary scrum team
