Join the LEAN Department in Bjerringbro, consisting of 22 dedicated employees responsible for improving and developing the production system. In order to live up to an effective production, we are currently undergoing a major transformation process where LEAN plays a central role in making our pump production world class. You will refer to Department Head, Lean, Bent Gravgaard. “We are relentlessly ambitious when it comes to creating a culture for change, and we maintain a strong focus on the development of each employee. Working together as a team is the only way we can create significant changes,” Bent says. Hvad drejer jobbet sig om? As LEAN Expert, you play a key role in the transformation process. Your primary task is to analyse the potential for improvement in our production, creating a foundation to transform and support the production system through LEAN. This entails the introduction and implementation of LEAN tools such as creating a project board overview, DAM, VSM, TIP structure and A3. Further, you are responsible for supporting and developing our LEAN Project Managers in building a project scope in for example a shop floor excellent project. Another important task is to coach Project Managers, Managers and Top Management on the LEAN principles, visual management and systematic follow-up structure. “To create a culture that inspires change, you need to be able to put your theories into practice and make good ideas and initiatives tangible for the colleagues involved,” Bent explains. Hvad skal der til for at ansøge? You are either an experienced Project Manager with a LEAN background who successfully has carried out LEAN implementation and development; or you have a background as Production Manager in an established LEAN company where you have lead Kaizen improvements. It is a prerequisite that you have experience from the automotive industry or from a subcontractor to the automotive industry. “Credibility is an important trait as you need to make others act in accordance with LEAN initiatives. You also need solid communication skills to convey the initiatives in an easy-to-understand manner to many different colleagues. Strong analytical skills that help you spot improvement opportunities are essential in order for you to created added value for Grundfos,” Bent finishes.
