Work with some of the best wind professionals in the world 

As our new LEAN Manager, your will lead, manage and align the LEAN/KAIZEN team on both manufacturing sites. You will be responsible for developing and executing continuous improvement ideas by applying LEAN principles to ensure a stable production process. You will be part of the KAIZEN team supporting the PAS teams at the different manufacturing locations.   

Your tasks will also include:  

• Lead and manage LEAN Engineers and Technicians as part of the LEAN/KAIZEN team 
• Align both LEAN/KAIZEN teams on each site 
• Improve and optimise the production process by applying LEAN principles, such as Small Group activities, Value Stream Mapping and Line Balancing 
• Work with and follow-up on initiatives collected by the PAS teams 
• Maintain high safety standards and work with the HSE department to report incidents and manage risks out of the process 
• Identify and manage training needs in the team and arrange for training to be realised 
• Manage the annual cycle of People Review, Motivation & Performance dialogues, Salary review 

Skills & experience: Our new colleague… 

…has at last 7-8 years of experience from a LEAN position in a manufacturing environment. You have great interpersonal skills, enabling you to lead and encourage a team as well as identifying customers and their needs. You can design, run and evaluate trials and prepare the appropriate technical reports. As a person, you have the drive and personality to continuously motivate and coach your team towards agreed KPIs.   

We expect that you:  

• Hold an appropriate engineering degree, preferably at Master’s level 
• Have applied LEAN Methodology and Continuous Improvement, 5S, Value, Value Stream Mapping, A3 method in problem solving and Project Management with A3 perspective in a manufacturing environment 
• Have experience in training employees about LEAN concepts such as 5S, TPS, Kanban, Wastes 
• Have understanding of safety and quality processes and reporting 
• Have Six Sigma principle experience (no certificate required, but preferred) 
• Can use Microsoft Office, especially Excel 
• Have strong communication skills, with fluent English 
• Have a proactive approach towards changes 
• Are a team player with a structured and result-oriented approach to your tasks
