Are you excited about LEAN and working capital projects? Does working with process and production optimizationmotivate you?

In this new role, we are looking for a specialist with strong project management and communication skills, both in writing and verbally and at all levels.

Your main responsibilities

  • Drive and improve results by leveraging LEAN tools, consulting skills and change management process
  • Be the primary responsible for implementation of LEAN initiatives within manufacturing plants and its associated value streams
  • Challenge and support factory and divisional management to drive a culture of of high performance and continuous improvement
  • Be responsible for support and development of a dual site strategy
  • Create long term activity road maps and LEAN transformation project for our factories including Kaizen and step change projects

Your background

In this position,we expect you to have the following skills:

  • Mastery of a variety of improvement LEAN tools
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Fluent in English, written and verbally as this is our company language
  • A Six Sigma certification will be an advantage
  • Experience with benchmarking of operations –KPI’s etc.

You have

A relevant university degree and some years of experience in a Project Manager role within Supply Chain. You have strong skills within supply planning and new product introduction, portfolio optimization, stock optimization projects, CAPEX projects etc. As you become the key person in the daily operation where conflicting interests can occur, it is important that you have strong negotiation skills and are able to implement necessary actions to ensure the balance between optimal production, customer delivery service and the warehouse.

It is a requirement that you have knowledge and experience of ERP controlled value chains.

You will be based at our Tandslet site. Some travelling should be expected –around 5-20 days per year.
