The EMEA Hub provide leveraged support to the manufacturing Sites in the Region in the Reliability, Maintenance and Mechanical Integrity and Quality Assurance matters.

The Reliability Engineer will be part of this Hub, and will work closely with businesses Reliability and Maintenance Leaders to get an alignment on the specific Business and/or Site needs.

The Leveraged Reliability Engineer will provide the practical support at the Site level and will help drive the implementation of reliability practices in alignment with business/site needs.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Support and train site Reliability engineers to analyze reliability data and propose improvements using Bad actor technic, Weibull analysis, growth model analysis and other reliability tools.
• Support and train site resources on analyzing and interpreting TEEP, OEE and Uptime data (primarily from Traksys) to determine reliability improvement opportunities.
• Support and train the site resources on calculating and analyzing maintenance and reliability KPI's to determine the areas for improvements
• Train, perform, facilitate and document Equipment Criticality Analysis. Enter criticality in appropriate system. Perform review of equipment criticality at appropriate times.
• Train, support & assist sites to perform reliability centered maintenance / failure mode and effect analysis plus (RCM/FMEA+) studies to develop appropriate equipment maintenance strategies and identify critical spare parts.
• Provide guidance and support to Site individuals in their execution of reliability projects
• Train operators and mechanics on their role in reliability improvement.
• Train and support site resources to conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA)
• Define Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) trigger points and perform RCFA studies when trigger points are reached. Implement corrective and improvement plans resulting from the RCFAs.
• Perform or arrange for physical failure analysis as needed. Teach mechanics physical failure analysis and evidence preservation techniques.
• Help ensure that the equipment checks and PPM (preventive and predictive maintenance) plans are introduced into the appropriate system such as SAP, Meridium, etc.
• Perform PPM effectiveness assessment at appropriate timing. Assess quality of the performed PPM tasks. Leverage standard PPM plans for similar equipment across the EMEA region.
• Work with Sites and their SAP PM Resource to increase the quality of the work history in the CMMS and identify appropriate & applicable failure codes in SAP to record accurate history against equipment.
• Support sites with the role out of specific reliability engineering tools (e.g. Meridium, Life cycle cost analysis, etc.).
• Train, coach, and influence site resources on reliability engineering best practices.

Working Arrangements:

• Location: Any DuPont manufacturing site in the EMEA Region
• Travel is required, approx. 30 %

Job Qualifications

• Technical Degree in relevant subject areas (e.g. mechanical engineering, reliability engineering, etc.)
• 3+ years of relevant professional experience in a maintenance or reliability engineering role
• Understanding of Reliability statistical analysis techniques (Weibull, Growth Model Analysis, etc.) and Meridium® / ReliaSoft will be a plus for the candidates
• SAP-PM or other business, region, or site-specific CMMS knowledge
• Good practical experience in IT and specifically MS Office® and MS Excel®
• Strong facilitation and communication skills
• Good Interpersonal and Conflict Resolution Skills with the ability to influence a wide range of roles from management to shop floor.
• Willing to learn and get development within this role
• Fluent in English both written and spoken. Other languages will be a plus
• Following certifications will be a plus:
• DuPont Six Sigma Greenbelt
• Train the Trainer
