Would you like to take up the challenge to manage a team of highly skilled contract management experts and be responsible for managing large foundation and substation contracts for our offshore wind farms? Join us and become Line Manager of the Structures Execution Team which is commercially responsible for execution of contracts for the supply and installation of foundations and offshore substations to our offshore wind farms. The department is part of Wind Power which has 1800 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You will be based at our office in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work as employees and consultants in your team can also be based in Skærbæk, Fredericia and London. Your key duties will be to ?be overall responsible for developing and leading the Structures Execution department ?ensure that execution of contracts is undertaken professionally and strategically and supports our strategic targets to drive down cost of electricity and improve safety and quality ?ensure a strong collaboration in the department and coordinate activities to ensure knowledge sharing and synergies across the organisation and across projects ?ensure sufficient quality assurance of the work carried out by your department, including incorporation of lessons learned and best practices ?ensure continuous improvements, including feedback from the execution of contracts into the procurement processes. You will also be responsible for people development of approx. 10 employees in the department and for the planning, prioritisation and delegation of new assignments and projects. In addition, you will manage and guide commercial sub-teams as well as ensure that required procurement resources are available for projects and manage business relationships with internal and external key stakeholders. Your qualifications and core competences include that you ?have an interdisciplinary background based on a bachelor's or master’s degree in economics, law or engineering ?have a business-oriented mindset ?have solid leadership skills within contract management, preferably within international energy, process or construction projects ?have strong negotiation and communication skills, enabling you to convey your message in a concise and efficient manner ?have great stakeholder management skills, and the ability to cooperate efficiently with colleagues from other in-house functions.
