For our Loads and Control Department we are looking for a new Project manager for our R&D and new product development projects. Continuous improvement of our turbines - without compromising on safety and quality - is one of the corner stones of our culture and time to market is one of our main priorities. Consequently, our turbine loads and controls department is at the forefront of developing turbine load mitigation, controls, monitoring, sensor and servo functional optimizations. The team is based in Brande and is staffed with highly skilled engineers with aero-elastic, structural dynamics and mechanical competencies. The team is responsible for doing load assessment, controller development and associated systems engineering and integration work in product design teams. What are my responsibilities? Be an active partner in our team of higly skilled project and activity management engineers. Lead loads and control projects that support our onshore and offshore project portfolio plans. The projects typically have a varying and challenging technical content within new products, product applications, load mitigation, controls, monitoring, sensor and servo functional optimizations. Planning, alignment and successful execution of loads and control projects. Definition and management of project deliverables. Contribute to maintaining and refining our portfolio of solutions, knowledge and processes within the area. What do I need to qualify for this job? You have an educational background as a mechanical, civil or electrical engineer (M.Sc.) or similar. You have a good technical understanding of wind turbine loads and/or controller design. You have experience in participating in wind turbine design in the product lifecycle from idea phase to prototype verification and in the early sales support activities You have education in project management and have R&D project management experience. You thrive in a dynamic and international environment and you have good cooperation and communication skills. You possess excellent English skills written as well as spoken.
