Then you are the Engineers that we are looking for to join our Loads Simulation department. Rotor, Tower & Control/Loads and Performance Engineering Vestas Technology & Service Solutions (TSS) is where new product ideas are developed, matured, improved and tested. To put it short, we are shaping the future of modern energy and we operate on a global scale with more than 1,300 employees. As a part of Vestas Technology & Service Solutions, the Turbine Loads and Performance department is responsible for calculation of loads, power curves and noise to new product development, technology development, innovation projects, Product improvements and sales support. Currently, the department consists of 12 highly skilled and motivated engineers situated in Denmark and India. Responsibilities: You will be part of a team providing Loads and Performance engineering solutions to new and existing products. This involves e.g. calculation of design loads, power curve and noise for new products, root cause analysis and problem solving related to turbines in operation, support of sales organization and technology development. The work involves high level of engineering i.e. balancing a solution towards various specific requirements. You will mainly work with aero-elastic simulation software and time series analysis. You will be responsible for documenting and presenting your work in a precise way to your internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications: You have: A M.Sc. within structural, civil, wind or mechanical engineering Knowledge within dynamic simulation of mechanical systems +3 years relevant experience within wind energy engineering or similar field Hands-on experience within product or technology development You might have: Experience with the tools Flex5, Bladed or HAWC2 Programming experience preferably Matlab Knowledge of control of mechanical systems Knowledge of strength calculations Competencies: It is expected that you are able to drive engineering solutions within the area from start to end. You should be pragmatic and quality-conscious. You have a creative approach to new challenges, a natural flair for innovation and thrives with varied tasks and constant changes from day to day. You succeed as part of a team as well as with independent tasks and it comes naturally to you to collaborate and share knowledge with colleagues and stakeholders. You are result oriented with a strong focus on the task and you are able to meet your deadlines with the right quality. Danish language skills are not mandatory and we welcome international applicants.
