We act as a support function for Grundfos’ 7 different production sites with activities within e.g. capacity planning and process development and optimisation. Initially, as Logistics Engineer your primary focus will be on our production in order for you to gain thorough knowledge on how our systems (SAP R/3) and processes work. You are responsible for the daily planning and optimisation of a specific production area and drive improvements of the systems, methods, processes and KPIs. As you act as support for a production site, you are in close contact with the customer and gain a large network in the organisation. When you have gathered more experience, your work takes a more project-oriented turn where you work or lead both small and larger logistics related optimisation projects on our production sites. These projects all serve the purpose of making sure the business develops in terms of logistics and reaches across Grundfos areas. “Naturally, having 7 different production sites poses the challenge for you to get to know Grundfos as an organisation. It will take a while to understand the organisation fully, but once you do, you find yourself in a world of countless opportunities to test your talent. You have a degree in Engineering or a Master of Science within SCM or logistics or MSc in Economics & Business Administration within logistics and SCM. Maybe you are just beginning your career or have a few years of experience working with systems, processes and production.
