We act as a support function for Grundfos’ 7 different production sites with activities within e.g. capacity planning and process development and optimization. Your colleagues are engineers, planners and purchasers, and we have a high focus on sparring. We are relentlessly ambitious working with KPIs and process development. You refer to either Rune Jespersen or Mads Jacob Andersen, both heading the Planning Department. ”We have a truly great department, which is a mix of young and more experienced profiles. Initially, as Logistics Engineer, your primary focus will be on our production in order for you to gain thorough knowledge on how our systems (SAP R/3) and processes work. You are responsible for the daily planning and optimisation of a specific production area and driving improvements of the systems, methods, processes and KPIs. As you act as support for a production site, you are in close contact with the customer and gain a large network in the organisation. When you have gathered more experience, your work takes a more project-oriented focus where you work or lead both small and larger logistics related optimisation projects on our production sites. These projects all serve the purpose of making sure the business develops in terms of logistics and reaches across Grundfos areas. “Naturally, having 7 different production sites poses the challenge for you to get to know Grundfos as an organisation. It will take a while to understand the organisation fully, but once you do, you findyourself in a world of countless opportunities to test your talent. If you are interested specifically in working with projects, processes and master planning, this is a great opportunity,” Mads adds. What do you need to apply? You have a degree in Engineering or a Master of Science within SCM or logistics or MSc in Economics & Business Administration within Logistics & SCM. Maybe you are just beginning your career or have a few years of experience working with systems, processes and production. This gives you the best basis for growing with us and developing your career. “On a personal level, you are goal oriented and are able to take an analytical approach to an ever-changing environment. This is important because you will quickly gain responsibility and new tasks – but also because your optimisation projects impose changes on your colleagues, and you need to be able to communicate these changes in a positive and constructive way,” Rune finishes.
