Blades > Launch > Installation & Call Center
The Installation & Call Center is a sub-department to Launch which handles the launch and execution of Blade support to all our factories. 

You will be working as part of a team that is responsible for planning and executing the daily maintenance on equipment and tools at our Vestas Blade Instruction Center in Lem. In addition, we are part of Tech. Transfer projects where we have the coordination, installation and the running of the production equipment - in close cooperation with our project managers and local factory organisation 

Our daily work at Vestas Blades Introduction Center consists mainly of ensuring and performing planned and systematic maintenance of machines, production and process equipment. The aim is to ensure and improve our productivity by preparing maintenance standards and finding solutions so that our production lines have an accessibility at world class level. 

You will be the lead engineer of this with reference to the Senior Manager of the area. 

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment to identify potential errors and develop solutions to eliminate the reoccurrence of those problems
• Analyse tools and utilities related problems and identify solutions which reduce downtime and conserve maintenance costs
• Assist with document control, and perform safety inspection of new and old tools 
• Facilitation of internal improvement projects
• Extensive support to production during introduction of new products and technology
• Setting up service agreements and support VBIC in case of technical issues
• Facilitation of capacity expansions/conversions

It is important that you maintain a safe, clean and orderly work environment by following all safety protocols and performing routine housekeeping and workplace organisation.
 

Qualifications
To match the above-mentioned responsibilities, you probably have these qualification:

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering/Technology Management and Marine Engineering
• At least 2 to 5 years of technical experience from the manufacturing industry
• Strong knowledge of tool repair and breakdown
• Good computer skills, particularly in database management
