Transport &Handling is a part of Technology & Service Solutions (TSS), Vestas R&Dorganization. The department is accountable for developing and maintainingstandard work processes and tools for Transport, Installation and Maintenanceof wind turbines. Responsibilities: Transport& Handling Processes isa part of Transport & Handling. The team is overall responsible forstandard work processes within Transport, Installation and Maintenance of windturbines. In terms of Maintenance the responsibilities are: Development andimplementation of scheduled maintenance forms for wind turbines Optimization of scheduledmaintenance in terms of cost reduction and quality improvements Development of standard work processes for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance Prepare for technicalillustrations of maintenance processes Specification of standard work time for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance Secure that maintenance is taken into account when designing new products Direct support to ourservice business As Maintenance Specialist and Functional Lead you will be the leading specialist of our Maintenance Work Process area. In close cooperation with our service business, our component designers and your colleagues you will ensure that we deliver optimized maintenance work processes for our products. In Technology &Service Solutions you will be the point of contact in terms of maintenance tasks and related processes, and you will be focusing on driving down cost on maintenance as well as implementing operational requirements in the design of our turbines. Close co-operation with stakeholders outside your own organization will be a cornerstone in defining operational requirements, and participation in operational work groups and forums will be an important part of your job. Your main responsibilities will be: Be Functional Lead for maintenance in Transport & Handling and be the point of contact for the organization Plan and ensure development of scheduled maintenance forms and standard maintenance workprocesses for new wind turbines Ensure that requirements from the operational service business are included in the windturbine design & tools design Be the maintenance representative for Transport & Handling in development projects, workgroups and forums Provide maintenance expert business support to the organization Your primary day to day tasks will be to: Plan activities inclose cooperation with your manager Coach and lead your colleagues in their daily work with maintenance work process development Define, prepare and optimize scheduled maintenance forms Define, clock andoptimize standard work processes related to maintenance tasks Risk assess processesthrough P-FMEAs Support Development of visual guides and documentation for work processes In close cooperation with stakeholders define operational requirements to tools and turbine design Provide businesssupport to our Service Business Qualifications: At least 5 years of proven experience within maintenance of wind turbines Educated Electrician,Electrical engineer or Marine Engineer (orsimilar) Certification ortraining in project management An additionalcertification in Six Sigma or similar is an advantage Competencies: High level knowledge about wind turbine technology and systems High level knowledge about operational wind turbine service business Good coaching skills and ability to lead others Experience with LEAN or Six Sigma Good general ITskills Experience with project management or planning Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal Proven ability to work independently and in teams, under pressure Capable of cooperating with colleagues in a professional and positive manner What we offer: We offer you an exciting and challenging job in a dynamic work environment.
