Manager and Executive Assistant to the SVP of Corporate Finance

And would you like to have responsibility for recruiting and developing Global Finance graduates? About the department Corporate Finance has 400 employees organised in 7 functional areas. Corporate Finance is responsible for the financial management of Novo Nordisk and sets the direction for Finance globally. Our ambition is to be the best finance operation in the global pharma industry. The job As Executive Assistant and member of Corporate Finance Management, you will play a key role in setting direction and driving the development of Corporate Finance, as well as be a strategic sparring partner to the SVP of Corporate Finance. In close cooperation with the SVP of Corporate Finance, you will drive the agenda for management meetings, quarterly Corporate Finance meetings and other major events. Furthermore, you will be responsible for driving projects in collaboration with both external consultants and our internal consultancy under the CFO. You will implement activities supporting the Global Finance Strategy, the Global Finance IT strategy and the Global Finance Balanced Score Card. Furthermore, you will be responsible for driving the Corporate Finance Business Plan. You will be manager for a talented group of Global Finance graduates. This includes recruitment, coaching, assignment of rotations, and managing their development during the program. The job offers frequent senior management interaction, leadership responsibility, and international opportunities. You will have the opportunity to plan and execute challenging projects. Through your work you will be exposed to different parts of the Global Finance organisation throughout Novo Nordisk in Denmark and globally. You will build a strong global network and further develop your leadership skills. Qualification You hold a relevant academic degree at Master’s level with strong results. Ideally you have 3-5 years of experience with project management, preferably from a well-reputed management consultancy company and you have a proven track record of delivering strong business results. You feel comfortable in a challenging environment handling numerous tasks simultaneously. You are excellent in navigating across boundaries and communicate effectively with colleagues and top management. You have a good sense of humour, and you show leadership and commitment in your daily work.
