We are looking for an ambitious Manager to lead the Backup and Restore team in Technical Platforms in IT Operations. Here you will join and lead the Team of approximately 14 employees placed in all our Nordic counties and Poland. In this role you will get a great opportunity to show great organisational and leadership skills in an area which is vital to the success of the bank. We are constantly having focus on Operational Stability and the ambition to be a trusted and safe partner to our customers and stakeholders. You will be part of the Technical Platform Management Team, TPMT. The position we offer As Manager for Backup and Restore you will be responsible for delivering strong business results and driving the functional excellence. In your role you make and implement operational plans and set concrete targets for your team as well as for each employee. You provide timely and well-documented feedback, coach, assess performance, hold direct reports accountable for their performance, communicate and show direction to enable direct reports to cooperate and execute. You implement and optimise processes, products and concepts and facilitate continuous improvements. You will also handle risk issues and ensure compliance with regulatory and governance requirements. The qualifications you need The ideal candidate has a relevant educational background, and the experience to put together a winning team since you will get the possibility to recruit to open positions. You have a friendly and social personality, with the ability to be strong in your arguments and assertive when needed. Furthermore we expect you to have following competencies: •Capabilities to lead a distributed team situated in different places and ability to execute on the targets set. •High level of technical understanding of infrastructure and how components work together. Detailed knowledge of technical solutions in the backup and restore area is an advantage but not a requirement. •Can handle high level of stress. When restore operations are needed, this is often done under time pressure. •Experience of Audit and compliance. •Proactive and well organised. •Good communication skills, with fluently English skills.
