Can you motivate and lead a team of highly skilled employees working in our prestigious offshore wind projects? Join us and become manager for our Document & Records Management department in Dong Energy Wind Power where you will manage a dedicated team of specialists who are part of a large function area of project management support. You will join a dynamic leadership team consisting of four managers. Document & Records Management has more than 30 employees, and we cooperate closely with our colleagues across the entire organisation and participate in all project phases. The department is part of Wind Power which has 1600 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You will be based at our office in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. You should, however expect some travelling in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility You are the daily manager of the department which has five teams covering records management, document control, technical document numbering, technical assistance and transfer coordination management. Your primary tasks is to conduct line management and provide leadership for the five teams, supporting the employees to deliver high-quality management support to projects in all their phases. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: •ensure and support HR requests to provide skilled and competent resources with the right mind-set to projects and programmes •ensure continuous dialogue with the project management •recruit, train and manage people development •assure quality of work performed by own resources •raise risk concerns and propose mitigating actions for own functional area. Your profile You will have significant leadership and team management experience from a strong matrix organisation. You have a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in management or a similar education. You can demonstrate staff responsibility, having managed employees from a distance. As we operate in an international environment, it is essential that you speak and write English fluently. Additionally, you have good communication skills, enabling you to manoeuvre efficiently in a complex matrix environment. You have good people skills and are a good motivator. You thrive in an international environment and can handle numerous tasks simultaneously without losing perspective. In addition, you create results through teamwork and develop good relationships with your colleagues and stakeholders within the organisation.
