The Products & Technology department is experiencing growth and therefore we need a people manager to drive the organization. You will be in charge of a highly specialized engineering team working with projects for Telecommunications solutions for the Oil & Gas and wind power industries offshore. Semco Maritime’s Products & Technology Division, designs and builds telecommunication systems with the latest telecommunication technologies on the market. We create total telecom solutions from satellite and radio links to CCTV, entertainment systems, PA/GA and Data Network. Semco Maritime’s integrated communications systems provide data links from oil & gas platforms and wind farm substations to onshore facilities, and keep people onboard connected. Responsibilities and tasks: Together with your team you will take responsibility for management and administration, competence management and performance management. Other tasks: •You will ensure efficient use of available resources in the department and coordinate and align resources and competences with engineering offices globally. •The job also requires personal and technical development of the 25 employees in accordance with the overall strategy. •You will also work with initiatives to develop the best possible employee well-being and job satisfaction in the department. •You lead and drive changes and corporate with stakeholders in the organization. Professional qualifications: Strong leadership skills from several years in a similar position. Furthermore: •Comprehensive management experience preferably from the wind, oil & gas industry •Positive and appreciative leadership •Experience with organisation and business development •Good communication skills •Leadership education like diploma in management or equivalent. •Fluent English in speech and writing •Fluent Danish in speech and writing or willing to learn Your profile: As a person you are well structured and independent and you stay calm under pressure as well as: •Entrepreneurial, dynamic and open-minded •Self-motivating, good personal drive and determination •Result-oriented when it comes to deadlines •Appreciates toughness so that appointments We offer: An exciting job with opportunity for development in an inspiring and dynamic environment.
