Deliver quality in prototype moulds and processes In the LEGO Group, we are experiencing an increase in demand for injection moulds. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering prototype moulds and sharing knowledge with designers. Thus, you contribute to our continued success by securing moulds through cutting edge knowledge within prototyping - for element moulding to uncover product safety issues and element testing in play, in a position where you: Develop and ensure compliance with existing processes and standards Ensure a strong process focus to increase quality and decrease the lead time on prototype moulds as well as manage resources and work load to ensure capacity planning and priority management Establish KPIs and measuring points for quality, cost and delivery within the prototyping area Ensure efficient planning of both internal and external production of prototype moulds and continuously seek opportunities to improve the specialist knowledge within the prototype area Deliver a high service level and genuine collaboration with customers and key stakeholders Embrace imaginative employees with a strong personality, and motivate these to deliver strong results Build a dedicated team and the future organisation You get a real opportunity to make an impact by sharing your ideas, do what is right and get things done to the highest possible quality. You lead 12-15 employees with specialist knowledge of mould manufacturing focusing on people development and clear directions. Also, you join the leadership team of the brand new Technical Mould Development. As a team, you create the future organisation by developing core capabilities and growing a diverse organisation. Innovative and technical people leader In this position, you need to be able to translate strategy and business plans into concrete priorities. This entails stakeholder management across the LEGO® Value chain and a global and holistic mindset where you always keep an end-to-end perspective. Also, to be part of developing something from the bottom up, you need to show a great personal drive and an ability to contain ambiguity, and you: Hold a Master's degree within Design Engineering or another similar technical education, so you know of innovation and design principles Have 3-5 years of relevant experience plus 1-3 years of leadership experience - enabling you to act as a role model for own employees and lead and engage people via your strong personal integrity Want to work on prototypes with designers and many other stakeholders to deliver a seamless development and execution of prototype moulds Are able to demonstrate relevant successful results, preferable from a midsize or major company Speak and write English fluently, know Excel and any knowledge of SAP & ARIS is a plus Join the global LEGO® Family In the LEGO Group, we succeed together, and you will be part of a global family where you can use your creativity and enjoy a fun working environment across the LEGO Community.
