Would you like to manage and develop key resources responsible for the construction of some of the world’s largest offshore wind farms? Join us and become Manager of the Offshore Cable Installation – Execution department, which is responsible for staffing the asset projects, while training and developing the staff in the department, maintaining company best practices and implementing lessons learned. The department is part of Wind Power which has 1800 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You may choose freely to be based either at one of our Danish offices in Skærbæk near Fredericia or in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area or alternatively at our London office in the United Kingdom or our Hamburg office in Germany on local terms and conditions. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. Your key tasks will be to ?provide skilled and competent resources to the asset projects ?head recruitment and training and manage people development ?assure quality of work performed by own resources in relation to company best practice ?develop company best practice – based on lessons learned – and align interfaces with stakeholders ?be aware of portfolio risks and mitigate in own functional area via own employees. Your qualifications and core competences include that you ?have managerial experience from large, complex, international organisation(s) ?have strong, proven man-management skills ?have strong, proven stakeholder management skills ?have a proactive and systematic approach to developing and implementing best practice ?thrive in an international environment and speak and write English fluently. Furthermore, it is desirable that you have experience in offshore cable installation and have actively worked with implementing lessons learned into exsiting and new best practice standards.
