Do you have the strategic, tactical and operational skills to take on the challenge as the leader of a highly specialised company delivering the business plan based on an ambitious growth strategy and high performance objectives? At Danfoss IXA, we develop, manufacture and supply sensors for the maritime industry, with the purpose of providing accurate data for energy optimisation and environmental improvements/documentation. Our customers are the container shipping operators, the large shipyards, the leading marine engine manufactures and after-treatment solution providers. You will head an organisation consisting of a highly specialised team with a strong entrepreneurial spirit where you set the strategic direction and secure our position as an unavoidable provider for the marine industry. Develop a strong, high-performing and customer-oriented organisation Your mission is to provide true leadership in order to grow the company through effective management and as such secure excellent and consistent performance. You will spearhead the development of the business and play a key role in the further development of a lean, operational, market-oriented and value-adding approach to sales and delivery within the organisation. You will establish contact to potential customers, develop and close sales as well as initiate and cultivate relationship with strategic partners. More specifically, you are to make sure that the organisation is customer-oriented and responds to customer and market needs. You will develop your employees accordingly, and make sure that we are able to meet the company’s strategy at all times. In short, you will be coach and partner for product development, working on a high international level covering both the development of sales/marketing strategies and planning, implementation and execution of them. Substantial commercial and project management experience, leadership and persistence You hold a Master in engineering backed by an MBA or a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration as well as substantial experience within management and leadership of middle managers in an international environment. At the same time, you have extensive experience with international sales of complex technical products and handling of large OEM customers. Besides, it is important that a good deal of your experience is anchored in the marine industry. Your career has both provided you with a proven business development track record and strengthened your technological insight as well as your ability to develop and execute strategies. You are able to inspire people around you and clearly communicate visions and direction. You know how to navigate in cross-cultural organisations, and your natural authority enables you to handle heavy pressure and requirements from multiple key stakeholders.
