CMC is looking for two technicians for Manufacturing to cover upstream and downstream activities. Would you like to join CMC’s exiting development in an informal and challenging environment? As our new technician you will have a unique opportunity to be involved in projects transcending from clinical trial to commercial manufacturing. The Manufacturing department is a professional and dedicated group consisting of three project teams and one support team. At our multiproduct facilities in Copenhagen we offer you the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and the newest technologies. You will experience a dynamic working environment with a high variety of tasks where cGMP production never becomes routine. Everything stretching from execution of production activities, support, troubleshooting and preparation and GMP documentation, will be a part of the tasks. The Department You will be part of a team within Manufacturing consisting of 11 professionals .You will also be part of one of the three project teams and your primary responsibilities will be in upstream processing. The team consists of scientists and technicians - with upstream and downstream processing know how, working together on execution of processes from thaw of vial to final fill. The commercial process, that is the primary responsibility for this team, is running in a technical challenging and interesting perfusion process, where you will have the opportunity to learn and understand, as well as troubleshoot on and improve this process. In the manufacturing department further development of you future skills will be supported by the various processes that CMC Biologics is involved in. In the Upstream area we are working with animal cell culture, including bioreactor operations in different culture vessels and systems (batch, fedbatch and perfusion systems of different kinds). No other company in Denmark have so many different processes gathered in one single building. In downstream we are working with recovery and purification of API. Responsibilities and tasks A big part of your role will be to participate in the execution of Mammalian processes according to cGMP. This includes: • Daily operation of cell culture processes in both small and large scale and generation of GMP data. • Participate in maintaining equipment and keeping the mammalian facility in compliance with CMC GMP policies. • Contribute to the improvement of the process in close cooperation with department scientists. • Work with our engineering and validation teams regarding implementation and qualification of new equipment, control, calibration and maintenance of existing equipment. • Opportunities to develop your GMP documentation skills by assisting in writing e.g. change requests, deviations (non-conformities) and SOPs Experience and competencies You have a technical and/or a laboratory background and you possess some of the following general competencies and experiences: • Knowledge of the bio-pharmaceutical industry. • Experience in working under cGMP. • Experience with or have assisted in installation and qualification of production equipment. • You are interested in developing your technical skills. • You have a positive attitude and think proactively. • You are dynamic with the ability to operate in a dynamic environment. • You have the ability to keep the overview and make prioritization even when you are busy. • You are a goal oriented a team player and have good communication skills.
