Would you like to work as a Chemical Process Engineer in the Food Industry? In that case, a position as Manufacturing Technology Engineer at DuPont might be your next professional challenge. We are looking for a dynamic and engaged Chemical Process Engineer to an open position at our manufacturing Site at Grindsted in Denmark, which is part of DuPont Nutrition & Health Division. Your main focus will be support to production of Emulsifiers, which is a product segment where Dupont is the world market leader. With our food ingredients, we create value for our customers world-wide and we contribute to develop safer and healthier solutions for the global food industry. You will be part of a Manufacturing Technology (MT) Group consisting of around 40 persons. The MT group is active in support to many aspects of manufacturing and we deliver valuable support to the organization world-wide based on our in depth knowledge on plant scale manufacturing. The position can lead to travel activity of 5-20 days per year. Your responsibilities will include •Performing troubleshooting activities •Improving processes through optimization or implementing new technology •Participation in upscaling activity and full scale introduction of new products / processes •Participation in investment projects •Participation in activities within Production Safety Management (PSM) •Participation in multi-site networks and technical projects •Participation in identifying and adopting best practices Job Qualifications You are a skilled Chemical Engineer with a Master Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent competencies and: •You have great interest in improving manufacturing performance •You are analytical, persistent and committed to your projects •You are a team player, able to adapt and maneuver in a matrix organization, work with a positive attitude towards sustainable solutions for all parties •You have excellent communication skills and you speak and write English fluently •You are curious and eager to learn and take active part in sharing best practices and are open minded towards other cultures Your technical skills include solid understanding of: •Thermodynamics, Physical and Chemical Properties •Process Simulation •Statistical Process Control and Experimental Design •Chemical Unit Operations •Organic Chemistry Application deadline is 15 December 2014 With expertise spanning two centuries, diverse industries and more than 90 countries, our company is uniquely positioned to help solve some of the world’s biggest challenges.
