Become a part of the ambitious Market Intelligence team in KamstrupKamstrup is a Danish technology company and one of the world’s leading manufacturer of intelligent metering solutions. We experience rapid growth and focus massively on development and production of intelligent metering equipment and systems for wireless solutions for energy and water consumption. Because of an increased demand for our innovative and intelligent solution, we are looking for a new Market Analyst to our Market Intelligence team.

With reference to our Business Development Manager, you will become a part of the Market Intelligence team that works to ensure the necessary knowledge on competitors as well as existing and potential markets. The team functions as a center of knowledge across the organization and you will contribute to strengthening Kamstrup’s strategic position on the global market.

A job with focus on complex market and competitor analysesIn the job as Market Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing market and competitor data as well as maintaining and communicating this knowledge to the rest of the organization. Therefore, you will contribute to improving the quality of decisions on a tactic and strategic level across the business areas.

More specifically, your tasks will be:

• Daily surveillance on market and competitor news• Carrying out market and competitor analyses • Completing customer analyses, awareness measurements and other customer-oriented measurements• Knowledge sharing across the organization to ensure that everyone contributes to the common database of knowledge

In the job, you can expect around 20-30 travel days per year.

Personality mattersAs a person, you are ambitious and are driven by the desire to develop your professional and personal competences. You enjoy working independently, but at the same time you are able to build relations across an international organization. You possess strong communicative skills that enable you to communicate data to the rest of the organization. Furthermore, you have an analytical and curious approach to your tasks and you wish to make a difference and take responsibility.

To succeed in the job as Market Analyst, it is crucial that you:

• Have a Master’s degree within International Business or similar • Have minimum 3-5 years of experience from a similar position• Have solid experience with completing complex analyses – preferably in an international perspective

In addition, it is a requirement that you master English on a high level – both orally and written. Danish will be an advantage.
