Do you want to play a role in transforming the marketing value chain of LEGO?

Here is a unique position that influences the marketing planning for LEGO. Help create better products, more effective campaigns, and a stronger marketing network, in close dialogue with senior-level leaders, by supporting the processes that make the “marketing value chain” work for LEGO.

Core Responsibilities

• Drive planning for the key milestones for the marketing value chain annual calendar, and provide support for the implementation of these milestone activities as needed.

• Lead communications and best practice sharing across the marketing value chain.

• Manage the implementation of the Operating Metrics for the marketing value chain to identify any pain points or areas of focus

• Provide support for the governance of the marketing value chain, ie agenda management and action planning for key decision-making meetings.

• The position can be placed in either Billund or London.

The Global Marketing Planning and Media Management team leads the development of marketing planning guidance and media strategy to help local markets shape their activation plans. This team provides the strategy and investment direction, and manages the agency resources needed to enable local markets to meet their business objectives. The team also manages the leadership and governance of the marketing value chain. It interfaces with various global, regional and local stakeholders, and ensure that the strategy and directions are relevant, timely, and actionable. Marketing efficiencies and effectiveness are key performance indicators for this team.

Do you have what it takes?

• 3-5 years experience in a marketing organization, or in an agency (advertising, media, or PR)

• 2-3 years in a top consulting company, working in the marketing arena

• Shows initiative, and can thrive in situations with a high degree of fluidity and /or ambiguity

• Highly collaborative, and has excellent written and oral communication skills. Confident in dealing with multiple stakeholders across various levels of seniority.

• Proficient in Office programs

• Strong in project management

• Other considerations: the work will entail some travel (2-5 trips a year) to key LEGO locations

• Previous experience in working with a blue-chip brand, or in a global setting, is an advantage

• Analytical, and comfortable with dealing with multiple sources of data / information

• Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in English
