Every day, thousands of people make calls or play games with one of our best-in-class headsets widely renowned for premium sound. We, Sennheiser Communications, are right now looking for a Master Data Controller who wants to join our Supply Chain Operations team.
The area
Sennheiser Communications develops headset solutions at our headquarters in Ballerup (Copenhagen). We are looking for a Master Data Controller to join the Supply Chain Operations team that consists of 5 specialists from demand planning, operational and strategic purchasing. We are the operational backbone of the wider Supply Chain department.
Your role
Joining in this role, you will ensure the data integrity of product and customer master data. You do this by creating, maintaining and reviewing master data for products and customers across our segments and regions in a timely and accurate manner. You will join us at a time, where we will just have launched a new ERP system, so there will be plenty of possibilities for you to influence the way we will use the system in the most efficient way.
Our Master Data Manager handles the overall governance model in which you will be operating. You will support our Master Data Manager in agreeing on standard master data settings with key stakeholders and make sure that processes for new data entries are strictly adhered to.
In short, you will:
- Ensure all new product Master Data is created accurately in our Microsoft Dynamics AX-2012 ERP system and PIM (Product Information Management)
- Agree standard Master Data settings with stakeholders and ensure that new product Master Data will be created efficiently and accurately
- Update or create new data templates as business circumstances change
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of our data across multiple countries
- Manage the daily operations by creating, reviewing, validating and maintaining material master data and associated hierarchies in AX 2012, and other related internal systems
Your profile
Handling documentation accurately requires attention to detail and a keen sense for processes. Therefore, we imagine that you have:
- Experience from a similar position
- Experience in AX-2012 and proficiency in Excel
- Process driven, data centric and analytical, with a strong attention to detail and pragmatic approach to problem-solving
- Ability to setup complex data in a simple way
- Written and spoken English is a requirement (it is our company language)
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to support cross-functionally
