About the position

For our Service Procurement department, we are looking for a Master Data Coordinator for managing all material creation, extension and activation requests that are raised in the material creation workflow. You will be developing and maintaining all necessary documentation relevant to position and procedural accountability. You are also responsible for working with the appropriate functional areas to collect the correct Master Data information to drive data accuracy while improving system efficiency and effectiveness.

What are my responsibilities?

  • Validate requests raised in Material Master Lifecycle Management process (Material group, documentation)
  • Actively participate and represent Procurement in Material Master Data governance meetings
  • Initiate RfQs (Request for quotation) for the requested materials
  • Ensure Master Data integrity in SAP system and maintain the processes to support the data quality
  • Asses documentation to ensure it is according to the requirements
  • Coordinate urgent cases where agility is the key
  • Identify process improvements to prevent future issues
  • Assist in data management governance and quality with other function owners to ensure data integrity across operations and consistency with business processes and requirements
  • Other duties assigned as needed

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Experience in relevant logistics/planning/procurement or master data function
  • Overall understanding of logistics and business processes
  • SAP Key User expertise (preferably within Cross Applications)
  • Overall understanding of logistics/procurement processes
  • Experienced project participant or coordinator
  • Administrative skills
  • Self-motivated and pro-active
  • English advanced level (both oral and written)
