The Product Data Management (“PDM”) team serves the Siemens Wind Power Blades organization world-wide with management and controlled release of product and process documentation and master data in compliance with ISO 9001 requirements. We use SAP and Teamcenter as our primary platforms for creating and maintaining master data. What are my responsibilities? As Master Data Specialist you will be responsible for: Creation and maintenance of Material Master Data in SAP for raw materials, semi-finished goods and finished goods relating to wind turbine blades and blade molds Creation and maintenance of multi-level Bills of Material (“BoM”) Using document info records and the change management functionalities of SAP Assisting engineering colleagues in the planning of BoM’s, and material allocations to routings Reporting on the material status of items in BoM’s Monitoring progress of other involved parties in master data release workflows Regular checks of the SAP/Teamcenter interface for material master data and document info records Making suggestions for continuous improvement of the processes for master data creation and maintenance What do I need to qualify for this job? You have a strong background in SAP, preferably MM and PP modules, and some years of working experience in the field of master data. You are fluent in English and have experience dealing with people from different cultures. You are service-minded and enjoy helping others – but can also plan and meet deadlines. You have a systematic approach to problem-solving, and enjoy both perfecting routine tasks and tackling ad-hoc challenges. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
