In this position, you will join 7 colleagues in the AFI Global S&OP team. We oversee the global planning, including the collaboration with several external partners. AFI is a subsidiary of Arla Foods and a global leader in industrial food ingredients including whey proteins and lactose. All known for having the industry’s highest levels of quality, innovation, and food safety.

Help your colleagues do great planning

As our master planner, you own, drive and help develop our MPP (Master Production Planning) solution to help us balance our supply and demand in the way that we utilize all incoming whey, deliver our customer commitments and produce according to value add principles. You become our in-house specialist on master planning and our systems, and you will have a variety of day-to-day chores related to the operations of our planning. This includes orchestrating all input from the commercial, supply chain, R/D and finance to create ONE master plan for the coming 2-15 months, just as you:

• Optimize product availability by managing stock profiles
• Follow up on Plan Adherence
• Manage impact on sales demand
  • Create scenarios for supply issues
• Manage availability/capacities
• Monitors and analyses results/KPIs to take corrective action and ensure continuous improvement
• Participates in AFI S&OP department projects
• Setup, maintain and control the MRP calculations
• Facilitate ”Local Pre-S&OP MPP Meeting” and “Global Supply Review Meeting” and contributes to ”Capacity Review Meeting” and ”Pre-S&OP Supply Chain Meeting”

Extrovert and experienced master planner

It is important that you can receive, understand and orchestrate the many inputs from all over a complex value chain in order to create ONE master plan. In fact, this understanding of your colleagues in the entire AFI value chain is key to your success because you will need it to establish fruitful collaborations and understand our planning issues. For similar reasons, you are strong in communication and have an analytical mindset as well as a comprehensive understanding of the S&OP process.

• You are experienced with master planning.
• You know SAP (knowledge of APO Demand would be an advantage as well.
• You are skilled in data analysis and reporting.
• You are fund Excel and BI tools and can juggle with many numbers without losing focus on the anticipated results
