For our Turbine Measurement Operation Department at our global head office in Brande, Denmark, we are looking for a vibration and noise engineer. You will be part of a team, which is responsible for noise- and vibration-measurements and -analysis of our wind turbines and turbine components. What are my responsibilities? · Plan and perform vibration and noise measurements on wind turbines · Analyze data and present the results in written form · Plan and perform vibration measurements on wind turbine components, e.g. Modal testing, ODS measurements and troubleshooting on vibration related acoustics issues · Develop solutions for noise reduction of mechanical noise from wind turbines · Develop methods, procedures and measuring equipment for noise- and vibration-measurements and analysis in cooperation with external suppliers and internal customers What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have a Master’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering combined with 3 years of practical experience with noise and vibration measurements, preferably on machinery · You like to work with measurements and analysis and have a practical and solution-oriented approach to your assignments · You are innovative, structured and flexible and you possess strong analytical skills · You are able to interact at all levels in an international organization · You possess excellent English skills both orally and in writing Some travel activities must be expected. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
