Cooling, Conditioning and Enclosure contributes strongly in the development of future wind turbines. The department is anchored in a central position in the organization. Responsibilities: With report to the Cooling, Conditioning and Enclosure line manager your main responsibility and tasks as Mechanical Engineer – Cooling & Conditioning will be to design the overall cooling & conditioning system. This will include: Identify specific cooling and conditioning requirements from top level specification. Design conditioning and cooling systems and its components both for on- and off-shore platforms in close cooperation with sub suppliers. Drive deployment into turbine projects, prototype preparation, test plan Contribute to future solutions within cooling and conditioning systems in terms of new components, technologies and competences. Conduct maintenance on existing platforms as a support to the production units. Qualify new sources of components in close cooperation with purchase and production teams. Qualifications: The ideal candidate has the following qualifications: Experienced B.Sc or M.Sc in Mechanical Engineering specialized in cooling and conditioning engineering and system design. Good knowledge of fluid mechanics, heat transfer and thermodynamics. Competences within ProE and PDM link on a standard user level. Experience gained from working with quality systems, six sigma or similar as well as experience with ERP/change management systems will be seen as an advantage. A global mindset will be seen as an advantage. Strong English language skills, both oral and written.
