Job ID: 149716 Location: Brande Organization: Siemens in Denmark – Siemens Wind Power Mode of employment: Full time For our EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) head office in Denmark, we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer for the Design team within our Equipment Management department based in Brande. Our key role is to secure that installation tools as well as transport and lifting equipment are available. All equipment is developed in close cooperation with the Development team, and our business is based on internal rental, meaning that we provide rental of equipment to all Siemens project sites, both onshore and offshore What are my responsibilities · Documentation responsible for existing tools, transport and lifting equipment related to Tower, Nacelle, Hub, Blade and Power / Trafo unit · Writing requirements and purchase specification for tools, transport and lifting equipment · 3D and 2D design of equipment and Design Risk Analysis (DRA) of solution/equipment · Keeping track of progress and communicating solutions and status to stakeholders · Coordinating and controlling the implementation of NEW equipment · Engineering change note handling (ECN) · KRIMA handling (NCR) · ECM board member · Design review What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent technical degree combined with at least 3 years of mechanical or structural engineering experience. · Preferably, you also have experience with international project management · You are independent and result-oriented with strong analytical skills, and you are a dedicated team player capable of motivating the members in our team. · You thrive in a multicultural environment and possess excellent communication and English skills both orally and in writing. · In addition, you are familiar with Inventor 2013 and NX Unigraphics ver. 8). · Preferably, you also have experience with MathCAd and Ansys ver. 14 In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
