Your new department will be Global Cement Technology, Product Engineering in Valby. We have the entire technical responsibility for the machinery within our area. Detailed Description Secure state-of-the-art fan solutions for cement plants You will join our fan team of 4 skilled colleagues who are responsible for the product line of fans designed to operate in demanding environments of the cement industry. As such, you will contribute to achieving stable, uninterrupted operation and increase the capacity with minimum disruption for our customers. Taking ownership of our business energises you, and you constantly develop our working processes in order to improve quality and increase competitiveness for our products. In this manner, you have a key role in securing our and our customers’ continued success. You will: · Generate specifications for proposals and order execution in our product database · Follow up on order execution globally together with our colleagues in India · Render technical support to manufacturing facilities, site personnel and Customer Services · Participate in or leading design projects · Ensure a high level of quality of engineering documentation · Upgrade projects to existing type ranges of equipment · Elaborate instruction, operation and maintenance as well as design manuals · Prepare 3D design work in SolidWorks You will join a team of highly skilled and professional colleagues and will have ample opportunities to broaden your knowledge within machinery and technical business systems. You can look forward to having a job with a global nature that will include a couple of weeks’ travel per year. Job Requirements Mechanical Engineer full of initiative and a quality mindset You are a practiced Mechanical Engineer with solid knowledge of mechanical design, proposal, order handling and services in connection with machinery. Ideally, you have fan experience and know how to provide engineering documentation of high quality. A practical background will be an advantage but is not a prerequisite. We apply 3D SolidWorks for documentation of new design. Our products are documented in our product database, and of course, it will be an advantage, if you know the system and are able to use it from day one. Otherwise, you are a fast and willing learner. To be successful in driving progress and development in your own area, you have to be full of initiative, resourceful and self-guided. To perform and coordinate activities effectively on a global level in the organisation, you must have excellent communication and team-oriented skills.
