You join us at our offices in Aarhus, Denmark, to develop mechanical constructions for international baggage handling projects in our Airport Division. We have the leading product on the market, and our mission critical systems are installed across international airports (where they run 24/7) as an essential part of daily operations.
Project work from design to commissioning
As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will have a versatile job in an international environment where you participate in multiple projects with competent colleagues. You cooperate across technical disciplines and in each of the projects, you participate from the design phase to the commissioning at the customer - ensuring a lean process and great quality along the way.
As you will be responsible for specification, system layout and design of baggage handling systems to airports, your tasks will include:
- Preparation of specifications on requirements, clarification of mechanical and electrical interfaces to other system parts, and risk assessments and CE marking
- Responsibility for system layouts, including compliance with required system capacities, redundancy, flow etc.
- Responsibility for sub-supplier technical purchase specifications, for bill of materials for manufacturing as well as for test and installation documentation
- Idea and concept generation on project specific solutions
- Managing, planning and coordinating sub-tasks and sub-projects for a team of technical designers
- Site-support during installation and commissioning

You want to develop your competencies and move yourself in the direction of technical project management. In articularl it shows in the way you take responsibility and show dedication. Further, cooperating across disciplines requires you to be outgoing, possess good communication skills, and be fluent in English. Finally, you are able to stay focused on details, results and deadlines.
- You have a degree in mechanical engineering and at least 2-3 years of relevant experience
- You have a strong mechanical insight and 3D understanding and are prepared to acquire knowledge beyond mechanics.
- You have good knowledge about the machinery directive.
- You have practical experience with AutoCAD 3D, and strong IT skills
- Preferably you have knowledge about VBA and databases.
