About the department You could become part of Biopharm QC Microbiology, which is organisationally a part of Biopharm QC. We carry out all of the microbiological analyses on in-process tests, bulk, finished products, raw materials, environmental monitoring and new products from all over Biopharm. The department consists of 4 teams with a strong collaboration, overall we are 55 employees working with classical microbial methods. The job As our new microbiologist, your primary focus will be on Sterility test, environmental monitoring, microbial enumeration tests, classical microbiological identification, qualification and maintenance of equipment. An essential part of your job will be to support our many different customers and ensuring timely release of results. In all of your work, you would keep an eye on both fundamental quality and on-going optimisation of methods and processes. Qualifications You have a solid education in science, supplemented with particularly extensive experience in microbiological analysis with one/several companies working in compliance with GMP requirements. As a microbiologist, it is important that you enjoy sharing and communicating your knowledge openly and constructively with technicians, colleagues and customers – also including when many people are asking for your attention at the same time. You have sense for details but are able to take decisions. You have to be a person who thrives in a busy and constantly changing working environment. You also need to be capable of contributing with ideas for optimising procedures. It will be an advantage if you have knowledge within sterility testing, microbial enumeration test, classical microbiological identification or qualification of technical equipment.
