As a Midrange SAN Storage Administrator (Senior Infrastructure Operations Specialist) you are responsible for implementing, running & operating and maintaining centralized Midrange SAN Storage Services for Nordea as part of cross-nordic Nordea IT I&O Technical Platforms Storage unit. The position will be based in Copenhagen and/or Stockholm. The position we offer The Storage Team is responsible for implementing, managing (run & operate) and maintaining hardware and software used in centralized midrange storage environments (SAN, Storage Controllers / Disk Systems, NAS) in VDC/Copenhagen and the remaining part of CCC/Stockholm, Nordea’s two main Datacenters in the Nordics. This includes both daily operational activities (disk provisioning, monitoring, performance tuning, capacity mgmt, advising & guiding) as well as incident & problem management actions. In the position you will be part of a Cross-Nordic team, providing storage management services for Nordea IT in Midrange platforms. Additionally you will be acting as 2nd and 3rd level support in technical questions and problem solving with responsibilities in Midrange Storage. Operational Stability and high availability are our most important driving factors when managing, maintaining and supporting these complex technical infrastructures with huge growth rate and high amount of changes. Interacting with Infrastructure experts in addition to your colleagues in IT Operations, especially in Technical Platforms and Application Services (servers, network and databases), is therefore vital for successful deliveries. The qualifications you need You have deep technical skills in providing IT Infrastructure & Operational services and preferably minimum 3-5 years’ experience working in Midrange SAN Storage area. You are experienced in analysing and solving complex technical problems, and being involved / contributing to technical implementation and maintain projects in area of responsibility, which activities typically takes place outside normal business hours. You are familiar with high-end centralized Storage Technology (like IBM and HDS Storage Controllers, IBM SVC, Brocade and Cisco MDS SAN, HNAS etc.) and methods & tools used to manage those (like TPC, HDS and IBM Mgmt tools). You are good team player, active and open in communication, flexible, and have a strong drive and interest to develop and learn, as individual and as part of team. You are innovative and eager to deliver solutions (including problem resolution) and services with high quality in a proactive way to guarantee operational stability and efficiency. You have excellent communication skills in English, and you have experience of working in multi-culture global / Cross-Nordic organization. Experience with incident, problem and change procedures, based on ITIL framework, in very much desired.
